Coming Soon
● After much anticipation, Dune's full-length album Days Go By is officially set for release in Summer 2025.
● Patrick Dune reunites with original drummer Kevin Whyte from his 1980's rock band "The Keep" together with veteran bass player Micheal Baxter to record new record.
“It all started with my first Rickenbacker guitar, a AC30 Vox amp, and the desire to write, play, and record music,” Dune recalls. “From the beginning, I’ve always been a songwriter first—it’s about telling stories that connect and endure.”
Dune got his start early in his music career in Canada with his original band “The Keep” releasing his first single “Time is a Luxury” that paved the way to numerus writing and co-writing opportunities for various artists which led to being asked to play on different guitar sessions, singing and producing for various music projects. This eventually led to writing and producing songs for television and movies and co-writing with finalists for the popular TV show Canadian Idol.
Over the years, Patrick has supported and toured with top Canadian and U.S. artists, both on stage and in the studio. After relocating to Denver, Colorado, he continued to evolve his sound and deepen his catalog of collaborations—never looking back.
His standout single, “We’re the Lucky Ones”, debuted on Denver’s Top 40 radio, showcasing a blend of his retro rock roots and southern country rock flair all anchored by the signature soulful Rickenbacker guitar tone that defines his work with his band, The DesertHearts.
Now, Patrick is in the studio working on a new record, set for release in the summer of 2025. This upcoming project promises to push boundaries about life, self-redemption, forgiveness and faith with a fresh sound and raw honesty. Numerous show dates in the U.S. and Canada will follow.
